I was born and raised on a farm in the beautiful "Hills of Mulmur", just minutes from the quaint Village of Creemore. I am very happy to say that I am still living in the country with my husband and two teenage children in Clearview Township (formerly Nottawasaga) close to the ski hills at Devil's Glen.
In this industry, I know that my rural roots enhance my know-how and capabilities as a real estate professional. I have inherited a wealth of knowledge from being a "country girl" and daughter of a custom homes builder, and am very much aware of the questions that need to be asked and answered about rural properties.
When it comes to buying and selling a country property, I pride myself on doing all of the necessary research. There are several items to consider - well water quality and quantity, status of the septic/sewage system and how it works, inspection and documentation of oil tanks, heating, zoning, set back requirements, plus???. Attention to detail is important, as you never know what you're going to encounter!
I have access to complete real estate board information for Grey, Simcoe and Dufferin Counties along with the Greater Toronto Area. So...if you have something in mind, I can find it for you!
